Some time ago, it seemed that the only way that you could get your teeth whitened was through getting them bleached. However now there are various different teeth whitening products that you could use at your home. However the major problem with both of these is that they require the use of potentially dangerous chemicals which can make your teeth highly sensitive, and can just cause you to be stuck in another more serious problem.
Here are 7 tips to make your teeth more bright and white:
1. The most important thing to do is to brush and floss your teeth regularly, this would help to prevent you from getting cavities and fight plaque and tartar also it would reduce staining. Remember to brush your teeth after every meal, if you don’t have a toothbrush handy, rinsing your mouth well would be better than doing nothing.
2. Try using fluoride as less as possible, even though fluoride can be found in toothpastes or other water supplies, using too much of it can discolor your teeth.
3. Limit the use of tobacco; also drink less tea and coffee. These are the three most common things that discolor your teeth.
4. Your teeth can also be stained by wine and certain fruits and vegetables. However this obviously does not mean that you stop eating fruits or vegetables. All you need to do is brush well after you eat the ones who discolor your teeth.

5. There are different types of fruits that can whiten your teeth really efficiently. For instance, strawberries can be directly rubbed on your teeth or mashed or brushed on. Also the inside of the orange peel is excellent for whitening your teeth, this can be rubbed directly onto your teeth, or you can make a paste of dry orange peel and ground bay leaves to brush on. Also a mixture of lemon juice and salt would work well.
6. Baking soda could also be used to whiten your teeth. Various toothpastes include baking soda in their ingredients as it is really effective. However you wouldn’t need special toothpaste. All you would need to do is mix baking soda with a dash of salt and add a little vinegar to it to make a homemade tooth whitener.
7. Be careful while using mouthwash, quite a few have alcohol in them or even chlorhexidine which can discolor your teeth. You would be able to find Herbal antibacterial mouthwashes that can help you kill germs and freshen your breath without the use of harmful chemicals.
You don’t need to try on expensive items to whiten your teeth; neither do you require the use of harsh chemicals. By using preventive measures you can make you smile brighter without harming your teeth in other ways.
